Still image from the film Light and shadows 11
Andrew   Payne’s   short   films   attempt   to   capture   the   effect   of   light   on   the   landscape   near   his   home   in England, and in and around the house where he lives. Previously,   as   a   landscape   photographer,   he   made   still   pictures   of   this   environment,   but   his   film   work adds the extra dimension of movement to the images. He   has   a   BA   degree   in   Fine   Art   and   was   a   postgraduate   student   at   the   Slade   School   of   Fine   Art   in London,   where   he   gained   a   Higher   Diploma   in   Fine   Art   in   1980.   In   addition   to   being   exhibited   widely   in the UK, his films have also been shown internationally - in Europe, South America, the USA and Korea.
